This year’s top tech gifts are once again loaded with MP3 players, cameras, and game consoles. Leading the list is a hot item which has been hard to find since its release and is followed by products in their 2nd and 3rd generation–tech fan boys and girls just can’t get enough of them.

- 12. Canon Digital Rebel Xti 10.1MP
Over 10 megapixels to get great photos. This camera is perfect for landscapes and the photo-hobbyist.
- 11. Zune 30GB (brown)
The first listed MP3 player is the best known alternative to the iPod. This player boasts a 30GB drive for your loved ones listening pleasure.
- 10. DS Lite (crimson & black)
The DS lite is now more stylish than ever. Crimson and black is a perfect combo for the ‘in’ crowd.
- 9. SanDisk 1GB MP3 Player
A cheap alternative to the iPod is always welcome as long as it does the job right, which SanDisk always does. A great, cheap gift for under $30 is always… great.
- 8. Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse
Laser mice are the way of the future. They just keep getting cheaper and cheaper and better and better. A perfect gift for gamers or just those who use a computer often.
- 7. Canon Powershot 7.1MP 4x Optical Zoom
A great gift for those who want a nice camera but don’t want to spend over $500 for one.
- 6. 4GB iPod Nano
The iPod Nano just keeps getting better. The 4GB Nano holds enough songs to keep you busy, yet it’s still small enough to fit in your pocket comfortably.
- 5. Nokia SmartPhone N95
The Nokia SmartPhone is a classy, stylish alternative to the iPhone. It has everything you would ever want in a phone.
- 4. Garmin 660 Pocket Vehicle GPS
A great gift for those who hit the road often or those frequently lost.
- 3. 16GB iPod Touch
The iPod Touch is one of the newest iPods available. Its slick, easy, and best of all, hot.
- 2. ASUS Eee 4G Notebook
A great gift for those who need a secondary computer or for someone attending school. It’s lightweight, affordable, and has just enough drive space to hold all the necessary applications needed for someone on the move.
- 1. Wii
Revolutionary is an understatement. Ever since the Wii was announced, a never ending line was formed in front of Best Buy and Wal-Mart. Although the line has moved, many are still waiting for their own. If you find one not for $500 or not in a bundle, consider yourself lucky.
There are tons of great tech gifts out there. What will yours be?

“11. Zune 30GB (brown)

Huh? I distinctly remember having MP3 players long before Microsoft introduced the Zune in November, 2006.
Heck, the iPod wasn’t even the first MP3 player, and it came out in 2001.
Maybe you meant to say “The first MP3 player from Microsoft…”?

It means the first of the list, sorry for the confusion.
[Yes, I know... late reply, just missed this comment.]

I pick will be for no. 1 - Wii. But it’s still too expensive for me. Maybe I should learn how to make more money online, instead
Fyi, came here via Entrecard. Just so you should know.
Greetings and lotta loves from Malaysia.

Wow, I have 3 on your list.
I have an MX Revolution - but I assume yours is for a notebook. I have the iPod touch (still don’t love it as most as others), and a Wii (don’t play it that often). I don’t consider myself a gadget girl and I’m over them already.

alternative: “a possible or remaining course or choice”
Nowhere did I say it was the first, second, or whatever the hell you thought I said. I said it is the best known alternative, meaning, it is widely known among the population.
