Before impNerd became impNerd it was ChickenCamels. Yeah a weird name, but I love camels (the animal) and a chicken mating with a camel is weird yet fascinating in a non-sicko/animal-perv way. Anyways, I attempted to create a tradition of every Thursday posting a ‘link love’ article, giving props to anyone or anything I found entertaining during that week. It didn’t last long. That was mainly due to some problems, along with getting ready for the move to impNerd.
Anyways, hope you enjoy the links this week
Smashing Magazine’s servers finally crashed. I mean really, as much as they get dugg, slash dotted and tumbled I thought their server would have gone down long ago.
YPN’s better half came out with another great blog post for publishers on how to survive the holidays.
Shoemoney released another great article on searching with Google — the guy does so well with these types of posts, but still claims it is a personal blog. Come on Shoe, it isn’t JUST a personal blog. You are the king of ringtones and looked up upon by thousands of web marketers. Yeah, everyone loves reading about UFC posts and other linkbait attempts (not joking what-so-ever, they are awesome). But really Shoe, if it wasn’t for your combination of greatness throughout the blog it wouldn’t have the 13,762 RSS subscribers.
Lauren Weinstein broke the news about a Canadian ISP intercepting and modifying web pages.
Google announced the killing of their baby, well, one of their babies limbs.
John Chow continued pimping affiliates (OK, he owns TTZ Media), writing reviews (well OK, those are Michael Kwan posts), and talking about eating fancy food (OK, that was a video).
Matt Cutts talked about new changes within the Google atmosphere. Yay?
DoshDosh wrote a kickass article on reaching new potential customers.
Elite by Design has a nice article on Getting out of the money mindset.
