It’s time for a fight! A blog fight that is. No clue what it is? Well, it is a match up between two blogs with each round being a different aspect of the blog or blog owners.

How were the blogs selected?
You might be wondering how Shoemoney, Aaron Wall, DoshDosh, ProBlogger, Daily Blog Tips, John Chow, and Chris Brogan were selected. Well, they are simply some of the most popular marketing blogs on the web. Like it or not, they have many followers.
What are the rules?
Rules? What rules? I’m the referee, the score keeper, and the round card girl… well, boy.
Here’s how it works:
I set two blogs up against each other. Each round will cover one aspect of the blog or blogger depending on the match up. Each round will be judged and given either a 1 or a 0. If there is a tie, both blogs receive a 1.
Some aspects covered will be: feed subscribers, average comments, post frequency, and how many nose hairs are shown in their most recent picture. Alright, maybe not the last one. But, there will be special, random rounds if there is a tie after the 6 original rounds.
The winner of each round will move on to the next, while the loser will be thrown to the lions.
Lets get started!
Here’s the first round match ups.
- Shoemoney vs. SEOBook
- DoshDosh vs. ProBlogger
- DailyBlogTips vs. SearchEngineLand
- JohnChow vs. ChrisBorgan

Very interesting concept – I love it. I am looking forward to seeing how the bouts progress. I wish I could come up with clever ideas like this.

What an excellent (and unique)idea. I can’t wait to see who ends up the winner.
