Scratchback.com has a cool widget that allows visitors to ‘tip’ webmasters in order to receive a link back to their own site.
Out of the horses mouth
ScratchBack is an online “tipping” system. It allows you, the publisher, to accept tips and “give back” links* or images* in return.
You name your price on your tips, and you earn money from every interaction through our easy-to-use automated system. It’s free to sign-up, and you can have a TopSpot widget on your website or blog in minutes.
Of course, why should you tip me?
- You enjoy my blog.
- Because you can get clicks through my website to yours.
- You are just generous
- Christmas is coming!
So, being the generous guy I am *wink wink* I am allowing all visitors to purchase a link for $1. Yep, just a buck.

I am really digging scratchback. I have had good results with this widget on my page. Will bloggers get rich off scratchback, probably not. However, people are very inclined to pay $1 for an advertisement.
