Google Announces Western Union Payment Option

Google has officially launched a new payment option for AdSense publishers.

Publishers can now choose to receive payment by Western Union Quick Cash in the following countries:
China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Romania, Philppines, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia

Google has also stated there are no fees for anyone selecting this option.

In most cases Western Union payments arrives faster than bank transfers, so you will receive payment faster.

    Great news; this makes it a lot easier for Adsense publishers all over the world. Wonder if they’ll be adding a Paypal option next… :D

    Yeah, would be cool. However, it is highly unlikely. PayPal is owned by eBay, which is in bed with Yahoo! Also they are probably a bit ticked at Google for their Google Checkout. Although I wouldn’t put Google Checkout out of the equation for payments sometime in the future. That would be pretty sweet.
