- Shoemoney – Some great advice, although some off topic stuff it is still entertaining.
- JohnChow – Great advice on up-and-coming affiliates. Just watch out for the affiliate links
- Darin.cc – Nice info, not many readers as of yet.
- DoshDosh – Great info on a variety of subjects within the web developer world.
- ProBlogger – Obviously more for bloggers, but still some great news and advice.
- Tropical SEO – Mostly basic stuff, but some gold mines as well.
- chrisg.com – Great info, he’s still trying to kick start it though it seems.
- A List apart – Obviously one of the more widely read web developer sites. Has some awesome information about CSS and some HTML tips and tricks.
- Search Engine Land – General information and news for web developers.
Best Web Developer Forums
- Digital Point – Great information just about everywhere. Place links in your signiture, go to freebies for cool stuff, sell templates, etc.
- Webmaster World – Has gone down hill within the past year. It was where I started though, so I have to pimp it.
Best Social News Sites
- Reddit – Great news articles. Although lately it has been filled with Ron Paul articles, police brutality, NSFW and xkcd, generally there is some nice info between them.
- Sphinn – A great SEO and SEM social news site. It just opened recently and is part of the Search Engine Land empire, so you know it’s good.
Why not Digg.com? Because they are full of little kids who vote up anything Mac related or with boobs. No real content to see there, move along!

- Smashing Magazine – Great information both web and graphic design. Has showcases, links to kick ass free fonts, etc.
- CSS Showcase: Zen Garden
- CSS Showcase: Stylegala
- CSS Showcase: CSStux
