Ask a Nerd
It’s pretty common with blogs for audiences to ask questions, so go ahead! Ask me a question, any question at all and I will answer it or completely ignore it :p. The question doesn’t even need to be nerd related.

No one knows the exact first usage of the word ‘nerd’, but the first documented use came from Dr. Seuss’s book If I Ran the Zoo published in 1950 with the line “a Nerkle, a Nerd, and a Seersucker too”.
The other possible origin of the word ‘nerd’ are:
I am a Diablo fan. I started playing way back when the first Diablo came out, and man, I loved it. Who wouldn’t love walking by other players and using telekinesis to pick up their books? Well, besides the people who you were stealing from. Duping was also quite popular and quite easy. Drop an object, walk several steps away, then drop a potion while picking up the item. Chaching! Those were the days. All of this and I didn’t even mentioned the Cow Level.
A few years later, Diablo II released and was seen as a major evolution in terms of online gaming. Battle.net was free and several spells were made with multi-player in mind (auras and war cries). Once high enough, just kill Diablo over and over again until you get the gear you need (or trade with others). Go onto the next level and do the same. Awesome.
I receive quite a bit of search traffic for both related and non-related questions. To make life easier for everyone, here are some answers to the most often asked.

What is the history of nerds candy?
The nerds candy was introduced in 1983. The candy doesn’t have much history in itself, but it has been turned into a cereal (discontinued), bubble gum, Dweebs (a soft, chewy nerd. Dweebs were discontinued), and also a larger version. Nerds are often sold in both single packs and side-by-side packs which offer one sour and one sweet version of the candy.
Going green doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. Actually, there are many aspects of being environmentally friendly which have no cost. Although solar panels and wind turbines are important to lowering the overall pollution output, you can still make many different green changes at home without the use of such technology.
The three R’s of waste management are extremely important and can help us turn the planet around and help us live in a healthier environment.
