The Kodak EasyShare CX7430 is great. I have been using it for over four months now and couldn’t be happier. In most instances it creates a sharp, color accurate photo. However, if the lighting is bad and you are more than 15 feet away from the object, the photo may become dulled slightly.
The camera has several ’scenes’ or settings which may be used for moving objects, night, portrait, landscape, closeup by turning a dial. If you aren’t into that, you may set the camera to ‘auto’ and it’ll choose what it thinks is best.
If you are looking for a camera that will take both black and white photographs and color photographs, this is for you. By going to the menu you can set the luminocity and lighting to do what you wantt when you want.
This camera may also be used to take digital video. In my experience with the camera, 256MB will hold about 15 minutes worth of film or about 198 pictures if set on maximum quality.
This camera runs at about $179, but is well worth the price.
