You know what I hate? Websites that play music immediately when the page finishes loading. Why in God’s name do people still do this? I thought this went out of style in 1998 along with jeans with holes in their knees. What? Those are in style again too?! Jesus’s flaming hell!
Why do I hate music?
Screw you; I don’t hate music. I hate your website that plays music. Why? Because it annoys the hell out of me. When I am searching the web & reading your crappy ass blog I am listening to my own music, watching MLB.TV, or wanting peace and quiet. Your music just pisses me off and quite frankly, 99% of the time it is a song I have never heard of and couldn’t care less about.
What type of website plays music?
Seriously, what type of website plays music? Some crappy ass piss site that hobos use in order to get social contact? You may be wondering, “How does he know about these websites then?” Well I’ll tell you, I’m a stinky ass hobo that needs social contact. But I still hate your shitty music!
How do you take off the music from your pitiful excuse of a website?
The opposite way you put it on, ass. Go into your code, highlight the pretty part that is between and , delete it, then go put your head in the oven.

No music on any of my sites, so do please come and visit
I’m with you though, Nothing will get me hitting that delete button faster than autoplay music unless it’s autoplay video.
Even if it’s a cute song — leave it on your IPod.
Thanks!

There is nothing that can make me close a site faster than some damn music too. I agree with everything you said! I don’t have any music on my site, and never will. Truthfully, I try not to even put any vids on my blog unless they are pertinent to what I have written. That means never. Another great post IN! Love your blog!

Thank you. I couldn’t agree more. Music equals me clicking the X as fast as possible!

What a great post! I agree with you 100%! The damn music people add slows the pages down and distract me. I normally leave as soon as music cuts on!

You’re damn right and I couldn’t agree more with you. If we had to listen to any music then we would listen it in our mp3 player rather than one’s website.
Okies, if one has to put music on their website, then i think they put a “play” button next to it so that only those interested would listen to the songs.

I hate music on websites and self starting videos and ads that yell at me. So I agree 100 percent.

My sentiments exactly. Whenever I stumble into a site that plays music, there’s only one thing I do. Abort! Abort! Abort!

YES! Music forces me to close down a website. That and those animated voice over people. Any kind of worthless, intrusive, NOISE. I usually have 10 windows tabbed open at any given time. When one of them blares some retarded music I stuck scrambling to figure out which is the offending window so that I can terminate it immediately. I don’t know why people are so inconsiderate.
