Yahoo has recently launched a new social networking site called Mash. Mash is a lot like other networks, but with a little twist: wiki friends plus modules.
Yahoo’s modules include Flickr RSS, Ego Boost, Common Friends, MyMoshLog2, Blog Module, Asteroids, Astrology, PimpMyPet, Hover, Kaleidescope, Guestbook, and My Stuff. The modules can be loaded onto your profile page and moved around using drag-and-drop. Yahoo has also made it clear that within the coming months a development platform will be put in place for 3rd party developers.
Wiki-friends is where users are encouraged to edit each other’s pages and create new pages for friends. Every time you visit your profile page, you will see new modules which your friends loaded for you. My favorite part? You can opt out of it. This means companies, teens and other businesses wanting to only socialize with persons they do not know in real life will not be subject to the random changes which might occur.
Although profile pages seem to have a consistent structural layout (much like Facebook), users are allowed to customize the design by changing colors and inserting background images.
Mash has also included something called Pulse, which is a news feed but for friends. The page will show updates from friends, much like Twitter, but with all friends activities ‘mashed’ together.
To join, you must have an invite from someone who is already in the program. Luckily, I am giving out 10 free Mash invites to 10 people who comment and state why they want it. I’ll be giving out the invites as comments come in (make sure to fill in your correct email address).

If you could hook me up with an invite I would greatly appreciate it. I’d like to get familiar with the software so that I can be ready to develop extensions for it when the development platform is available.
Cool post.

I’m not sure if you have any invites left, but here’s my reason why I’d like one.
I couldn’t really get into Facebook, so I’d like to give Yahoo Mash a try to see what it’s like.
Please and thank you

Please read the post. Also, just copying what someone else stated (whom also said more through other comments which I deleted) is pretty weird.
Also, you don’t have to comment 4 times. What don’t you get about ‘comment in moderation’?
