Halloween Adsense

For Halloween Adsense began testing a new series of ads. These ads came in two forms:

  1. Black border with orange text along with a pumpkin in the upper right corner of the border with graphics along the right side.
  2. A pumpkin at the right corner of the border.

With Google’s technology it would be interesting to see how these ads were served. Where they geo-targeted? How random were they? Was there increased CTR for the ads or a higher ROI? Are they planning on doing this for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

I can’t wait to see what Google has up their sleeves this season.
